So here I am, it's the 12th of November, 9:30PM Sunday evening and all is quiet..... even the mouse. Yes, stuffed animals can't squeek, except mine, if you poke it in the belly it giggles like a mice. Not that I know what a mice giggles like, but just imagine along with me if you will. Oh and by the way, NO I don't play with stuffed animals. It just happen to be given to me by a female friend. In fact, if you look closely, there's probably at least an inch of dust on it. That goes to show you that I never touch it..... or that I never clean house! Hehehe! Oh well. So what am I doing right at this moment? If you must know, I'm in the "moment"! Yes, the moment! My head is up in the sky, dreaming, dreaming, flying with the stars, intune with the rhythm and the beats flowing from out my speakers!.... Mellowdramatic, yes!! I'm listening to this amazing Chinese Mandarin song and it's on repeat for the zillionth time. Wow! When I hear the composition and the soothing flutes, light drums, the rhythm of the female chorus, the powerful vocals, mixed with ancient chinese strings, my soul just.. wow! How exhilarating!! I have no idea what she's singing about, but language is no barrier when it comes to expressing powerful vocals intertwined with instruments of various kinds. This song is called, "A Love Before Time", which can be found on the "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" soundtrack.
Speaking of songs, I don't think I've ever discussed my musical listening habits to my loyal fans of this site... not that I have a whole lot of fans to begin with. But since I'm here, I might as well give you folks a little detail into my musical tastes. As you can tell by the paragraph above, yes, I do listen to chinese music. Infact, not only Chinese, but Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, American Indian, and on and on and on. In other words, I listen to most any "international" music and primarily modern forms of them. And the funny thing is, I would actually prefer to listen to them in their native language rather any English versions. Why? Well, I think they're much more powerful, or simply.... sounds better. Take for example one of Shakira's popular song, "Whenever Whatever". I'd much rather listen to it in Spanish than listen to it in English. It just sounds much better. But oh ya, I especially love different forms of Japanese music; Japanese rock, alternative and my fav genre, instrumentals. To name two amazing ones off the top of my head, "S.E.N.S." and "Yuko Sasaki". S.E.N.S. music are just breathtaking...wow!! But besides "International" music, I also listen heavily to rock, hard rock, classic rock, alternative, classical, new age, techno, a little bit of blues and oldies. And to name some of my fav songs of all time in no particular order,
