Anyhow, on to another subject. Here I am once again, typing away at yet another article. It's a Tuesday evening and I'm 5 minutes away from having to jump into the shower to get ready for school. Another lazy day today, as is many a Tuesday. Why don't I go out and do something? Heck no! Most tuesdays, I just enjoy sitting around home getting personal things done. Afterall, I work practically everyday at a job I can't stand and only to get home somewhat late in the day and having to do homework or some other work....yes, I consider homework as "work". Sometimes, a person just wants to relax by doing absolutely nothing but the little pleasures that makes life worth living; in my case, it would be building yet another website or figuring out some cool script or another. Like today, I sat around mostly at my laptop just working on a javascript that gives the current constant time, date, month and year. Yes, yes. That ain't exactly something new, but it's the way I constructed it and how it can be modified with a couple words that can make it compatible with whatever web page you'd like to put it on. The idea of the script was to make it completely cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-resolution compatible without having to completely re-work the scripts. I must say, it was quite an achievement...(patting myself on the back...if I could reach). But, for the most part, today I just filled my brimming brain with more potentially useful (or un-useful) webdesign knowledge. Of course, now If I can only sell my ideas and make millions! Ya right! I gotta quit dreaming! But wait! Didn't someone said awhile back to never "stop" dreaming? Hmmm, maybe it's just my imaginations.
Besides wracking my brains with programming languages, I also decided to rent a few good movies. One that really stood out was "Saw" with Danny Glover. Wow! That was an awesome movie!! The plot totally threw me off! The end is what really made it that much better. Of course, I'm not going to spoil it for those of you who haven't yet seen it. But, that is one movie that I highly recommend watching. The other one was "Chronicles of Riddick". That also was a great movie. I don't understand how it got mediocre ratings since it was an awesome ride. It's one of those movies that is just completely a Sci-Fi by 200% either way you look at it. Heck, if they come out with a part-2, I just might run to the theatres to watch it....and that's unusual for me! I mean, I can't remember the last time I actually went and sat down in a theatre with dozens of other people while glaring at a huge projection screen....or are they LCD displays by now?Well, my 5 minutes are up so I better end this and jump in the shower. Let me see what I can learn in class tonight...nothing. Not to brag or anything but, these classes are so below my skill level that I don't have to study or worry about how to do a project or what not. The only time I spend is the time doing so for homework. Oh well, I better get going. Oh and, as a final note, movie critics are idiots! They wouldn't recognize a zebra if they saw one, let alone a good movie.
